Following a highly successful first six months, we are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Director, Jean Watson. Director, David Watson, has taken a step back from Director, and instead takes on the role of Litigation Manager.
David has said;
"In September 2024, I launched Watson Investigations to approach Litigation Services in a different way. I wanted to provide the highest levels of service to our clients, whilst also keeping costs proportionate to the issues involved, and bring in specialists for each area of the case as necessary. I have been able to achieve this, and will strive to keep our high standards, and improve our services further, as I (or now rather "we") continue to grow.
The last six months have seen a lot of hard work, and it is pleasing to report we are already seeing the benefit. Within six months I have;
Met our Year 1 objectives.
Close to announcing objectives I aimed to achieve in Year 2.
In talks to grow our business further and achieve a Year 3 objective.
Any business owner will tell you, there is substantial work which needs to be done just to run a company, not just the work in delivering the product or service itself. I have now reached a point where my time needs to be primarily focused on delivering the services to our client, and not tied up in the day to day running of the company. I am therefore delighted to welcome Jean Watson into the role of Director, which enables me to focus on our clients, whilst Jean focuses on our growth projects. This is a temporary appointment for around six months as, whilst I always want to grow the company, I will not sacrifice my clients or my standards to achieve this.
Jean brings an incredible wealth of experience in management and administration. Most importantly, we work together well, and it is always a bonus to keep things within the family. Jean can be relied upon to deliver the results needed over the coming months, and we look forward to making future announcements soon."
Jean has said;
"It has been great to hear of Watson Investigations successes over the last six months, and David's plans for the business moving forward. I am looking forward to working with David as we implement those plans together.
Legal services can often be unobtainable for individuals due to the cost involved. It is great to see a company aim to be both profitable, but also play their part in helping individuals access advice and representation, which normally would be beyond their reach.
A community minded company not only involves delivering services to the public, but also involves giving the community the opportunity to be part of the company and its success. I particularly look forward to working on those projects which will add value to the community we serve."
